What You’ll Do – Batik Making and Painting Process
Our Batik Making and Painting experience runs for about 2–3 hours (depending on your skill level). Every participant gets personal guidance from experienced instructors who lead you step-by-step through the traditional process of creating batik.
Step-by-Step Experience:
Design Your Idea – Begin by sketching your creative concept on paper. Once you’re happy with it, transfer your design onto the fabric.
Stretch the Fabric – Secure the fabric tightly on the frame to prepare for the wax and color process.
Draw with Hot Wax – Use traditional tools to outline your design with melted wax, which helps separate colors and create texture.
Painting and Coloring – Let your imagination flow as you paint your batik using beautiful colors and patterns.
Coating the Color – Once finished, we coat your fabric to lock in the colors.
Drying and Wax Removal – This final process takes around 2.5 hours. Our team will handle it carefully so your artwork stays vibrant and clean. You can pick it up later or choose delivery (with a small additional fee).
